Warehouse Night; Order Selector

Job Description

Warehouse Night Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting customer orders in the warehouse and properly preparing and loading products/pallets for delivery. Orders are pulled from stock using selection labels containing product slot numbers, item codes, and descriptions via the SAE‑Scanning System.

Note:

This is a NIGHT position: a typical shift begins at 4:00 PM and will continue until all customer orders are pulled. Applicants must be available to work weekends (Friday and Sunday nights) to be considered.

• Operate the SAE‑Scanning system to pull customer orders (include cooler and freezer areas).
• Operate pallet jack, mid‑rider, cherry picker, and forklift as needed.
• Shrink‑wrap orders and transport to the designated area.
• Prepare and load products/pallets for delivery using the designated outbound dock door.

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screen, a physical exam, and a background check.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends (Fridays and Sundays).
• Must be able to walk extensively and stand for long periods of time (8–10 hours).
• Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet, and legs.
• Must be able to bend at the waist, stoop to reach into slot locations, and squat to lift heavy items properly.
• Must be able to lift 30–60 lbs repetitively and occasionally lift items weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to read slot numbers and product descriptions.
• Must be capable of selecting orders in all temperature zones and meet required case‑per‑hour and scan‑selection standards after the selector's 90‑day probationary period.
• SAE‑scanning or selecting experience preferred but not required.
• Pallet jack experience preferred but not required.
