Driver Check-In Clerk & Inventory

US Foods is hiring a Driver Check-In & Inventory Clerk to support our wholesale food service distribution center. In this role, you will greet and check in returning drivers, verify and reconcile route paperwork, and accurately record product returns, shorts, overages, and damages. You will update inventory systems, prepare and file required documentation, and coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams.

The position requires strict adherence to food safety, DOT, and company policies while working in a fast-paced, refrigerated warehouse environment with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Check in returning drivers and verify route paperwork for accuracy
• Record and reconcile product returns, shorts, overages, and damages
• Update inventory management systems and logs in real time
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to resolve discrepancies
• Prepare, file, and maintain driver and inventory documentation
• Follow food safety, quality, and DOT-related procedures and policies
• Assist with cycle counts and other inventory control activities
• Communicate issues impacting customer orders to appropriate teams
• Operate basic warehouse equipment and office systems as needed
• Support a safe, clean, and organized dock and check-in area
