Tax Senior

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our growing public accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients across a variety of industries, providing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services while developing professionally within a collaborative and client-focused environment. Position Overview The Tax Senior will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, managing client engagements, mentoring staff, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

This position requires strong technical tax knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
-Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.

-Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on complex tax matters.

-Identify tax-saving opportunities and planning strategies for clients.

-Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and budget expectations.

-Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.

-Mentor and train junior staff members, reviewing work and providing guidance.

-Assist with tax notices, audits, and other client tax matters.

-Stay current on tax legislation and industry developments.

Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

-CPA license preferred or actively pursuing certification.

-3+ years of public accounting tax experience.

-Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

- Experience with individual, business, and partnership taxation.

-Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software.

-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
