Electrical Technical Specialist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the metals industry, is seeking an Electrical Technical Specialist to join their team. As an Electrical Technical Specialist, you will be part of the Cold Rolling Department supporting maintenance and operations teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $32-$35

Shift: Days, Nights (40 hour)

What's the Job?

  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to maintenance and operations teams to ensure continuous product flow.
  • Design manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and safety.
  • Develop, manage, and implement small capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with craft employees and other departments to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing methods.
  • Assist in outage planning, support safety procedures, and respond to trouble calls on a 24/7 basis.

What's Needed?

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends as required.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.
  • Experience in designing and implementing manufacturing processes and projects.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% and support short-term outage planning and safety initiatives.
