Janitorial Cleaner role at ABM Industries.

The Cleaner provides cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area, including facilities, equipment, and furniture. The role includes following safety and compliance procedures and collaborating with team members and managers to maintain cleanliness.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

• Customer service experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Notify Manager of repair or maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Clean floor, furniture, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment as needed.
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Wash and replace blinds.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Perform incidental seasonal tasks such as sweeping, raking leaves, cutting grass, and removing snow.
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
