Role Description

The Automatic Screen Printing Press Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Alcoa, TN. This role’s primary responsibility is managing and running the automatic press. This includes setting up orders, operating the automatic press, and monitoring the apparel for consistency and quality. Daily tasks may include mixing and loading inks, performing test prints, registering screens on the press, troubleshooting printing issues, and adjusting press settings for optimal accuracy and quality.

Applicants must have proven experience with automatic screen printing presses and a strong understanding of the screen printing process. Ideal candidates thrive in fast‑paced environments and demonstrate reliability. Pay is based on experience and immediate applications are encouraged.

Qualifications
  • Hands‑on automatic press experience required.
  • Hands‑on experience with printing and screen printing processes, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of automatic presses.
  • Familiarity with embroidery or willingness to learn related decoration methods to support broader production needs.
  • Basic understanding of print design, color matching, and reading artwork and job specifications.
  • Ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and safely handle inks, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Attention to detail, strong quality focus, and commitment to following safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with reliability in attendance and task completion.
  • Previous experience in apparel decoration or screen printing production is preferred.
