Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Maryville, Tennessee, 37804.

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Maryville, TN

Contract (13-26 weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, managing patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-heart catheterization diagnoses
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
• Provide step-down level care for patients transitioning from the ICU (no ventilator or pressor support required)
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
• Float to other like units as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and orientation activities within designated time frames

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR

• Experience caring for step-down or intermediate care patients transitioning from an ICU setting
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and management of arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation
• Experience with dialysis patient care in an acute care setting

• Reimbursement available for pre-assignment module completion (up to 16 hours), providing compensation for your time before the contract begins
• Opportunity for contract extension up to 26 weeks, offering stability and continuity in a well-supported clinical environment
