PT Retail Shift Lead

KARM Stores is seeking a PT Retail Shift Lead for our Bearden location. In this role, you'll guide daily store operations, support staff and volunteers, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced thrift environment. Responsibilities include supervising shifts, operating the POS, cash handling, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store. You'll help train team members, model Christ-centered values, and support KARM's ministry to people experiencing homelessness through effective, mission-driven retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff and volunteers during assigned shifts
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues at the sales floor and register
• Operate POS system and ensure accurate cash handling and deposits
• Support merchandising, stocking, and organizing sales floor and donations
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and ministry-focused atmosphere
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, key holder duties, and shift reports
• Train and support new team members in policies, procedures, and customer care
• Model Christ-centered values, compassion, and integrity in daily interactions
