Green Meadow Swim Team (GMST) is looking for dedicated candidates for Assistant Coach positions in Alcoa, TN. Ideal applicants should have a passion for swimming and coaching, capable of instructing and motivating swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Key requirements include:
- Availability throughout the summer (Memorial Day to the end of July).
- Morning practices Monday to Friday, evening practices and meets throughout the summer
- Willingness to work with children aged 4 and above at all skill levels.
The team consists of Head Coach, several assistant coaches, former head coaches, and a supportive board, ready to start the season strong.
Qualifications
- Swim Instruction and Swim Lessons skills
- Experience in Lifeguarding and Aquatics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including all mornings, some evenings, and weekends for practices and meets
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and training methods
- Previous coaching or competitive swimming experience is beneficial
