Requirements and Description

Summary

The station manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the exciting day-to-day airport operations or a segment of the operation. The station manager must have a passion for ensuring the station's safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operational and financial performance.

• Makes decisions regarding hiring, discipline, and termination, subject to the review of the Regional Manager and Human Resources.
• Direct and manage daily activities of all cabin and janitorial employees.
• Promotes quality cabin and janitorial initiatives by conducting inspections; gaining feedback from meetings and identifying and correcting root-causes; enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service issues.
• Ensure that all work performed under his/her Management is done in a timely and cost-effective manner and in accordance with applicable codes.
• Establish, implement, and manage schedules and procedures.
• Ensure that all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Manages inventories supplies and equipment.
• Investigates and implements new and improved cleaning instruments and methods.
• Develops, proposes, and manages Special Projects and other related duties as requested and needed.

• Four+ years of relevant experience.
• Relevant supervisory experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a Government  social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
