Our team is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Utility Groundworker / Cable Layer to join our Cabling team across the South East.

This is a hands-on role offering a variety of projects, the chance to work outdoors, and the opportunity to play a key part in delivering essential utility infrastructure.

You Will Be
  • Working on a range of cabling and utility projects, ensuring work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
  • Assisting with site set-up and ensuring compliance with Street Works legislation.
  • Carrying out excavations for fault repairs and minor connection projects.
  • Undertaking cable and pipe laying activities, alongside other operational tasks as required.
  • Participating in a standby rota, responding to faults during evenings and weekends when required.
You have
  • A positive, hands-on attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Experience in a similar utility, civils, groundworks or cable laying environment.
  • NRSWA Street Works accreditation.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Small plant tickets (excavator, dumper, etc.) are desirable
