Position - Mechanic Lead Position Description
- Service, diagnose and make repairs on all types of boats and marine engines including inboards, outboards, Pwc’s and sterndrives.
- Make lake service calls and trailer boats to the lake for testing when necessary.
- Have at a minimum one certification from a recognized manufacturer:
Mercury, Mercruiser, Yamaha, Suzuki or Seadoo. - Train other personnel in the care and maintenance of various marine engines and applications.
- Provide service manager and/or customer with detailed and accurate description of diagnosis and parts needed for repairs.
- Assist in moving in and out of boat shows and other lake events when needed.
- Attend manufacturer training schools when required for certifications.
- 3 years mechanical experience preferred.
- Boating experience a must.
- Must have valid driver’s/boating license.
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
