This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the production area. All assigned work duties are to be completed prior to the end of shift while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the production area in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and QA pre-op protocols.
• This position will be required to use high pressure hose, chemical solutions, assemble/unassembled lines, and equipment as required for proper cleaning and sanitizing.
• This position must also clean equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceiling, lighting fixtures, fans, take out trash.
• This position will be required to be obtain LOTO (lockout tagout), fall protection, PIT (if needed) training, also.
• Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to understand manuals, blueprints, complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
• Other duties assigned by Manager.

Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.
• The Team Member will walk, bend, and stand.
• The Team Member will be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have 6 months of employment with one employer in the last 12 months

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
