Job Description:

*
* Purpose:

** To serve as an instructor
** and
* * program coordinator in the Aviation Program
** Responsibilities:
*** Teach 12 hours of aviation courses, including ground courses, at both lower andupper levels.
* Assist in academic advising of aviation students and monitoring their progress towards meeting both degree requirements and FAA certification requirements.
* Assist in monitoring effectiveness of aviation curriculum and associated courses and contribute ideas for improvement as needed.
* Contribute to development and implementation of initiatives to recruit new students.
* Contribute to efforts to establish strong relationships with other aviation-related organizations, companies, and school operating in the region.
* Serve on university committees as needed.
* Provide service to community as needed.## ##

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Aviation or Bachelor's degree in Aviation with
** at least 15 years
** of instructor experience (CFI, CFII, MEI) with a reputable flight school.
* Strong communication skills. Ability to motivate and engage with students.
* Self-motivated, cooperative, flexible, creative.## Additional
