Louisiana Continuing Education-Thrive Coordinator The Thrive Program Coordinator supports implementation of Thrive Together:
Healthy Eating, Active Living, Connected Communities. This position coordinates community-based programs, instructors, participants, partner sites, and program documentation to help ensure grant activities are delivered effectively throughout the service area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate Thrive classes, workshops, and community activities.
- Schedule programs with instructors and community partner sites.
- Communicate with participants, instructors, and partner organizations.
- Assist with participant registration, attendance, and program records.
- Coordinate program supplies, locations, and event logistics.
- Support outreach and promotion through community partners and LSUA channels.
- Collect participant surveys, attendance information, and other required program data.
- Maintain organized documentation to support grant reporting and evaluation.
- Assist with monitoring program schedules and grant deliverables.
- Support Thrive community events and special initiatives.
- Perform other grant-related duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple programs, locations, and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with community partners and diverse populations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn university systems.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in education, community outreach, health and wellness, program coordination, or a related area.
- Experience coordinating community programs, events, or grant-funded activities.
- Experience working with community organizations or diverse populations.
