Pay: $85,000 – $105,000 + Bonus Eligible

An established firm specializing in high-voltage substations and switchyards is seeking a Civil Engineer with structural and site design experience to join its team in Alexandria, LA. This is a small-team, high-impact environment where your work directly supports major infrastructure projects across multiple states.

• Design substation foundations and structural systems
• Perform civil grading and site layout for high-voltage facilities
• Execute shallow and deep foundation calculations
• Support hydrology and hydraulic calculations
• Assist with SWPPP preparation and erosion control documentation
• Coordinate directly with clients and project stakeholders
• Meet submission and fabrication schedules
• Contribute to full ground-up substation development

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• FE/EIT completed or scheduled within 9 months
• 2–3+ years of relevant civil/structural design experience
• Proficiency in:
  AutoCAD Civil 3D, Mathcad (STAAD Pro, Lpile, RISA Foot a plus)
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, and site development
