Job Summary

Annual Salary: $30,472.00 Grade: 18. Appointment to a position in the classified service shall be at the minimum of the corresponding pay range unless otherwise approved.

Position:
Utility Services department. The role will collect and review construction plans, gather field data and field notes, and obtain necessary information to draft preliminary layouts of existing and new utilities, ensuring correct location of utility lines. One vacancy is available, with future vacancies filled as they occur.

• Draft preliminary layout of existing and new utilities and ensure correct location of utility lines.

• High school diploma or GED with vocational or technical training in Drafting, CAD, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
• Valid driver’s license. Must possess a valid State of Louisiana driver’s license at the time of appointment and maintain it throughout employment.
• Will be required to obtain and maintain specialized certifications and/or training as deemed necessary.

40 hours per week.
