Key Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site cabinet and device setup, including programming of traffic controllers, PLCs, and related hardware.
- Configure and troubleshoot network communications, fiber, and wireless links for ITS deployments.
- Demonstrate equipment functionality to DOT partners and provide hands‑on training for end users.
- Collaborate with sales teams to translate technical requirements into solution proposals and quotations.
- Maintain documentation, as‑built drawings, and system logs to ensure compliance with agency standards.
- 3+ years of experience with traffic signal controllers, ITS hardware, and field integration.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, network configuration, and SCADA system operation.
- Strong communication skills for client presentations and technical support.
- Ability to travel across Louisiana and Mississippi for on‑site installations and support.
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, transportation engineering, or related field.
