Searching for a responsible controller to supervise accounting operations, prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and support leadership with strategic financial insights.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience leading a team strongly preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Tax accounting and/or real estate accounting experience preferred, but not required

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Lead the annual budgeting process.
• Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
• Develop financial forecasts and cash-flow projections.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Work closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Support other departments with financial data, reporting, and guidance.

• Prior experience with specific accounting systems is not required; training will be provided on internal platforms
• This role works closely with senior leadership, external partners, and financial institutions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
