* Qualification requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

One year of law enforcement experience.

2100 pse test score

Experience substitution:

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Necessary special requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Possession of a current louisiana driver's license.

Possession of an active peace officer standards and training (post) certification may be required.

An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
