Psych NP​/CBA - Louisiana

MDB provides medical and psychiatric services to residents in long-term care facilities (LTCs) in Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas. We are the largest healthcare provider in LTC in the region, and we have an outstanding team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and therapists. We have been providing services in LTC settings for over 12 years, and we have a very strong reputation among both clinicians and LTCs.

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a dynamic role supporting patient care across multiple long term care settings across the state.

This position will serve as a floater
, providing coverage where needed, while also playing a key role in conducting Cognitive Behavioral Assessments to support treatment planning and improve patient outcomes.

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Conduct comprehensive Cognitive Behavioral Assessments
• Support continuity of care by serving as a float provider across locations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Travel across the state to multiple facilities

• Active LA PMHNP license
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience in behavioral health settings
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments
