Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Travel Registered Nurse for a reputable hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $1,900 based on a 3x12s Night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Travel MICU RN:
Provide continuous, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill medical patients
Monitor hemodynamics, manage ventilators, drips, and advanced life-support equipment
Identify and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and care plans
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements of the Travel MICU RN:
Active Louisiana RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical ICU experience
Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
