• Safety is an absolute responsibility of staff members at each level of authority for all that happens or fails to happen in response to the program within their respective area(s).
• Issue and receive tools, equipment and consumables to and from employees
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, inventory levels and tool condition
• Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear; coordinate repairs or replacements as needed
• Oraganize and maintain the tool room for efficient storage and easy access
• Perform periodic inventory checks and audits of tools and equipment
• Track calibration scheduled and coordinate calibration services for precision tools
• Assist in developing and enforcing tool room policies, including tool check-out procedures and loss prevention
• Monitor tool usage to identify high usage items and recommend inventory adjustments
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper storage procedures

• High School Diploma [or equivalent]
• 1-2 years of experience in an industrial construction tool room environment
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments
• Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory tracking
• Must possess exceptional organizational skills and be detail and goal oriented.
• Ability to lift and move tools and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
