• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience.
• Strong millwright/equipment maintenance skills.
• A passion for leading, mentoring, and driving reliability improvements.
• Wood production experience preferred.
• Mastery of welding and fabrication.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to lead and train others.
• Drafting capabilities.
• Ability to read indicators and perform alignments on machinery.
• Capable of using a metal lathe and milling machine.
• Basic computer skills.

Your Shift, Your Fixes

• Champion a safety-first culture , ensuring all hazards are addressed before work begins and enforcing OSHA-compliant safety policies, PPE requirements, LOTO, and Hot Work procedures.
• Audit and review active Hot Work permits and proactively eliminate unsafe conditions.
• Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and project implementation to support production goals and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and equipment issues , ensuring optimal machinery performance and reliability.
• Inspect and audit maintenance work to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and compliance reportin g .
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce recurring repairs and improve long-term equipment reliability.
• Manage resources, staffing, and priorities in alignment with changing business demands and production schedules.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and budget compliance for maintenance operations.
• Identify process improvements, eliminate operational roadblocks, and promote continuous improvement initiative s.
• Provide leadership, technical expertise, and clear communication to support team performance and departmental goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
