Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Louisiana

Compensation:  $85/hour

Schedule:

Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, full-time. Every other weekend required. No call or floating requirements.
Highlights:
Mixed cardiac and medical ICU with diverse patient population including DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator management
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients
Temp-to-permanent opportunity available for the right candidate
Focused ICU assignment with no floating to other units
Structured onboarding with designated preceptor and competency validation process
No on-call requirement
Requirements:
Current Louisiana RN license or current Compact state license
BLS certification via AHA (required)
ACLS certification via AHA (required)
One year of Critical Care experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
