Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Alexandria, Louisiana

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Projected Start: 06/08/2026

• Provides routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatment.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with level of practice.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given accurately and thoroughly.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and available resources.
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed to manage the clinical situation.

• Active RN License in state of employment or valid compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing.
• Ability to meet weekend and on-call requirements as needed.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience practicing independently in a CVOR or similar clinical setting with the ability to manage complex and contingent clinical situations.
