A registered nurse specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) is needed in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role requires the candidate to practice independently within the clinical setting, providing routine and complex care related to cardiac procedures such as cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, and devices. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled to start on July 13, 2026, with a shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA);
  Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment or compact license; 0 years of experience minimum, with 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred; experience in a critical care setting preferred but will accept new graduates.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience in cardiac cath labs or similar critical care environments.
• Additional Information:
  Temp to perm possibility. Every third or fourth weekend on call as collaboratively scheduled. Nurse-to-patient ratio is one patient to four staff members (two nurses and two technicians). Dress code is galaxy blue.
• Responsibilities:
  Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects, document patient information, and educate patients and families as needed.
