41101 - Travel: RN - Telemetry I - DAYS, 13 week contract. 2 Positions.
Location:
Alexandria, LA.
Shift: Days, 7AM-7PM. Start: ASAP.
Weekly stipend: $1,260. Base pay: $29-$30/hour ($1,044 - $1,080 per week). Travel type:
All On-site Contract.
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
- RN License in state of employment or compact
Cardiac and Telemetry (not Stepdown unit).
Temp to perm is a possibility.
Weekend & On Call Requirements- Weekend:

5:1-6:1 depending on staffing.

Competencies:
Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation for assigned patients.
- Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with the level of practice.
- Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitors for side‑effects and effectiveness.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
- Assesses learning needs, provides education to patients, family members and/or caregivers; identifies issues and resources.
- Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. - Experience:
1 year in related nursing specialty preferred. - Licenses: BLS, ACLS, RN license as listed.
- All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days.
- New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member; entry competency and Med Surg competency validated.
- Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation; competency documented through tracking software.
- Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
- One year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
7AM - 7PM, 12 hours/day, 3 days/week.
