Onsite contract, 13 weeks, starting 7/13/2026.
12 hours/day, 3 days/week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
- RN License in state of employment or compact required
Every other weekend.
On Call RequirementNone.
Floating Requirement / LocationsRequired to float when needed.
Nurse / Patient Ratio5:1-6:1 depending on staffing.
Patient Types- MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, some med/surg overflow; unit performs many cardiac rips and manages drips.
- Temp to perm is a possibility.
The competent nurse practices independently in a setting similar to this, providing routine and complex care. They develop the ability to manage contingencies, make appropriate assignments, and delegate to other providers to manage clinical situations.

Competencies:
Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Consistent with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation).
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, or caregivers.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
- All new hires must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and must complete on‑boarding requirements validated through competency validation programs.
- All newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation.
- Complete all annual competency verification requirements.
