Travel: RN - Cath Lab
Alexandria, LA
13 weeks
SHIFT-DAYS (7:00A-3:30P)
Required Licenses, Registrations, or

Certifications:

• BLS required from AHA
• ACLS required from AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact

• Type of patients on the unit:
  Cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, devices, etc.
• Temp to perm is a possibility

Yes, every third or fourth weekend

Yes, as selected in collaboration with other staff

One patient to 4 staff members (2 nurses and 2 techs)

The competent Nurse,inthesameorsimilarclinicalsetting,practicesindependentlyanddemonstratesanawarenessofallrelevantaspectsofasituation.

Providesroutineandcomplexcare,withtheabilitytoonlong-rangegoalsorplans.

Continuestodeveloptheabilitytocopewithandmanagecontingenciesofclinicalnursing.

Makesappropriateassignmentsanddelegatestoothercareprovidersasameanstohelpmanagetheclinicalsituation.

• Bachelor of Science Degreein Nursing ,preferred

• Newhiresarepreceptedbyadesignatedtrainedstaffmemberandinitialon-boardingrequirementsarevalidatedthroughsuccessfulcompletionofthedesignatedorganizationalentrycompetencyvalidationanda
  
  Critical Care Department -specificcompetencyvalidation.
• Completionofallannualcompetencyverificationrequirements.

Experience

• Oneyearofexperiencein Critical Caresettingpreferredbutwillacceptnewgraduates .
