Registered Nurse – CVOR

$2325.60/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized cardiovascular surgical nursing care in a high-paced OR environment. Ensure all procedures are performed accurately while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients preoperatively to determine readiness for cardiovascular surgery.
• Administer perioperative care, including monitoring vital signs and managing anesthesia.
• Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment, including robotic-assisted devices.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately in Meditech system.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with recent CVOR or cardiovascular surgical experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience, including neuro, ortho, or general surgeries.
• Certification in perioperative nursing preferred; experience required if not certified.
• Demonstrate proficiency in robotic-assisted procedures and intraoperative skills.
• Ability to work 36-40 hours weekly with an adaptable call schedule.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
