Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab
This position involves providing routine and complex care to patients. The nurse practices independently and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. The role includes using the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Nurses will address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness, and documenting patient history and care provided.
The nurse will assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers. A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development is essential. The nurse will meet the competencies set forth by the organization and will be expected to collaborate effectively with other staff members. There will be a requirement to work every third or fourth weekend, and on-call shifts may be assigned in collaboration with the team.
The nurse will uphold the standards of safe care and ensure adherence to relevant clinical guidelines.
