Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Days This position is located on a hospital or healthcare facility's medical-surgical floor. The role involves providing routine and complex patient care independently in a high-volume clinical setting, with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and education. The nurse will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adhere to established protocols to deliver quality care.
Job Details- Schedule:
12-hour shifts, Days, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferably), 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty, BLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA), RN license in the state of employment or a compact state, and willingness to float. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience on a medical-surgical floor or similar clinical setting. - Weekend Requirement:
Three weekends in a six-week schedule. - On-Call Requirement:
No. - Nurse / Patient Ratio: 6:1.

Ceil Blue scrubs. - Responsibilities:
- Practice independently in accordance with applicable scopes of practice and standards.
- Provide routine and complex patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor for side effects, and document care accurately.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about health conditions and treatments.
- Make appropriate clinical decisions, delegate tasks responsibly, and manage contingencies in patient care.
