LVN​/LPN – Telemetry

Job Summary:

Providing compassionate and skilled telemetry care, the LVN/LPN will support patient recovery and comfort in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver effective nursing interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and manage IV therapy with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor, record, and report patient vital signs and responses to treatment across shifts.
• Perform wound care procedures, including wound vac changes and dressing changes.
• Insert indwelling Foley catheters and assist with other bedside procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient needs and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation consistent with facility and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Active LVN/LPN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 1 year of recent med-surgical and telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
• Possess critical thinking with the ability to prioritize patient care.
• Able to work night shift hours and participate in weekend rotations.
• Knowledge of IV insertion, wound care, and telemetry monitoring preferred.
