• Inspect, service, repair, and construct plant processing equipment, including structures, utilities, loaders, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical systems, and pressure vessels throughout the plant.
• Utilize welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair, and fabricate processing equipment.
• Manage inventory of serviceable parts required to maintain equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs established by the company.
• Document and report maintenance work performed and advise on future maintenance needs in a timely manner.
• Participate in and contribute to company safety programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Education: One‑year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
• Experience: Minimum two years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Skills & Abilities: Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, pumps, valves, and welding; strong troubleshooting skills; basic mechanical knowledge in a wood industry environment preferred; fabrication and welding of various metals (including pipe welding); strong communication skills.
