Staffmark is hiring experienced Heating & Cooling Technicians for a direct hire opportunity. If you have HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical service experience and enjoy troubleshooting commercial equipment, this is a great opportunity to join a stable team with room for growth.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, vocational training, apprenticeship experience, or industrial maintenance education is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC, heating and cooling, refrigeration, or mechanical service experience preferred
• Commercial equipment service experience a plus
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license required

• Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service calls
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Replace defective parts and components
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation
• Travel to customer locations for service work
• Communicate repair recommendations and equipment concerns
• Follow all company safety procedures

• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Use hand tools, power tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment
• Work independently in field and service environments
• Stand, bend, reach, and perform physical service work

As a Heating and Cooling Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, replace worn components, make mechanical adjustments, document completed work, identify equipment concerns, and collaborate with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime while supporting safe, reliable operations.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems and related equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and routine service. Identify mechanical and electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, meters, gauges, and other applicable diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical information as needed. Replace or repair defective components. Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.

Travel to customer/job locations to complete service calls. Communicate professionally with customers and BCI Mechanical team members. Accurately communicate needed repairs, parts, and equipment issues. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Work independently and manage assigned service calls efficiently. Follow company and customer safety procedures.
