Prime West Health is seeking a detail-oriented Editor to edit, proofread, write, and format a wide variety of print and electronic materials, including member materials, provider materials, directories, handbooks, letters, policies and procedures, instructional materials, promotional materials, website content, social media content, and press releases. This position helps ensure written materials are accurate, clear, consistent, accessible to the intended audience, and compliant with applicable Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicare Communications and Marketing Guidelines, and Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) requirements.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Required proofreading and editing experience.
• Ability to write and communicate in styles ranging from 7th-grade reading level to academic and business style for regulatory bodies and medical providers.
• Flexibility, ability to manage multiple tasks, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with people inside and outside the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must pass a proofreading test before interview.
• Three samples of editorial or written work are required with the application.
