Engineer Lead

We’re looking for an Engineering Lead to drive the design, development, and continuous improvement of high-speed packaging automation machinery. This role blends technical leadership, hands‑on engineering, and team development
—owning both new machine innovation and optimization of existing product lines.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our equipment is faster, smarter, more reliable, and more cost-effective
, while elevating the performance of the engineering team.

Lead design and development of high‑speed packaging automation systems, including new machine innovation and optimization of existing product lines. Drive continuous improvement and ensure equipment meets performance, quality, and cost targets. Mentor and develop engineering team members, while balancing technical hands‑on work with team leadership. Make timely decisions, own outcomes, and proactively identify improvement opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience in machine design, automation, or packaging equipment
• Proven experience leading projects or mentoring engineers in a technical environment
• Strong background in custom machinery or high‑speed automation systems

• Expertise in mechanical design and system integration
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience designing equipment for manufacturability and assembly
• Ability to apply both standard and non‑standard approaches to solve complex problems

• Hands‑on leader who can balance technical contribution with team leadership
• Comfortable making decisions and owning outcomes
• Proactive in identifying improvements and driving innovation
• Trusted resource for peers and cross‑functional teams

Base salary is $85,000 to $105,000.
