Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Brief Description
We here at Massman Companies are seeking a detail‑oriented Service Administrator at our Alexandria, MN site. This role will support the Service Manager in coordinating service travel, installation, machine start‑up, handling warranty issues for customers to ensure they are resolved, and administering the Preventive Maintenance program.
Your Day Might Include- Coordinating service schedules
- Managing work orders & service records
- Documenting parts, repairs, and customer updates
- Supporting the service team with organization and communication
- Education/Training:
High School Diploma or GED - 2‑Year Associates or Technical Degree
- Knowledge of the packaging industry preferred
- Customer service interaction preferred
- Strong understanding of pneumatic, vacuum, and lubrication systems
- General understanding of electrical control devices (i.e. sensors, Solenoid valves, VFDs, LPC, and PLSs)
- 3 – 4 years of demonstrated work experience in the packaging manufacturing industry or related technical field
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds
- Mainly an office working environment
- Occasional Assembly Floor presence required
- Occasional travel required
