Sort Line Associate

Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is seeking a Sort Line Associate to join their team. As a Sort Line Associate, you will be part of the operations supporting the recycling process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sort Line Associate

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-8:30 am

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Rate: $20.71 per hour

What's the Job?

• Remove objects from the waste stream conveyor belt.
• Clean equipment, including the trommel, conveyor belts, and all other recycling line equipment.
• Perform custodial work, including sweeping floors and cleaning picking station enclosures, locker rooms, and restrooms.
• Assist in operating the baler for aluminum, metal, and cardboard.
• Perform other related work as required.

• Ability to identify materials in the waste stream for proper removal and processing.
• Basic proficiency in using hand tools.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Strong attention to safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
