Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay Range: $20+/hour
Shift: Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:30 am to 5:30 pm
What's the Job?
- Operate computer numerically controlled horizontal lathes, mills, or turning centers to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts.
- Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine operating requirements.
- Mount work pieces securely and start machining operations, ensuring precision and quality.
- Perform in-process inspections and spot checks to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintain machine functionality by monitoring coolant levels and performing basic machine adjustments as needed.
What's Needed?
- At least 1 year of experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, process sheets, and instructions.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
