Press Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in aluminum extrusion, is seeking a dedicated Press Operator to join their team. As a Press Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Press Operator

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: 20+/hour

Shift: Night Shift (Monday-Friday: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, Thursday 6:30 PM - 12:30 AM)

• Operate saws, extrusion presses, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Support the production of aluminum extruded shapes that meet customer specifications
• Participate in 5S initiatives to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Verify manufacturing orders and ensure quality standards are met
• Assist with packing materials and moving dies as needed to support production flow

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and utilize inspection equipment properly
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and quality
