Build Your Career as a Mechanical AssemblerPro Mach’s Brenton division is seeking a mechanical assembler to contribute to the success of the company by providing assembly support for Orion’s products. This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor, is based in our Alexandria, MN facility, and is for our first shift.
Responsibilities- Perform most mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly operations.
- Read and understand assembly drawings, adhere to customer specifications, and assist in the test and final adjustments of the machine.
- Fit and align all components on a machine, follow and adhere to all Brenton/Orion quality and assembly standards.
- Must be able to be forklift certified.
- Mechanical installation includes: lube lines, cams, align and adjust gearboxes and drive lines, motors, chain, sprockets, etc.
- Assist customer personnel in the installation, start‑up and training of Orion machines and systems.
- 2‑year technical college degree with 2‑4 years of Mechanical Assembly experience preferred.
- Excellent mechanical or electrical capability, or capacity to learn.
- Solid mechanical problem‑solving skills.
- Potential to be a motivator/leader.
- Professional communication, attitude and image.
- Educator – good verbal and written presentation, organized, good planner, good interpersonal skills.
Base Hourly Range: $20.00–$29.00.
