Pro Mach's Brenton division is seeking a Welder to work on the evening shift to weld frames and component parts for the manufacture of automated packaging systems. This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor. This is a night position, working from 3:30pm - 4:00am Monday - Thursday.

Brenton , based in Alexandria, MN, is a leading manufacturer of case packers, palletizers, shrink-wrapping machines and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. Brenton is a division of Pro Mach, a leading provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for over 20,000 customers worldwide. Through multiple brands, Pro Mach provides product packaging and processing equipment, PMMI-certified training, installation, parts, and service for primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, end-of-line packaging, and identification and tracking.

Set up and run all required welding and cutting process proficiently.

Ability to build welding fixtures.

Complete knowledge of weld symbols.

Familiar with machining processes.

Conforms to requirements on a consistent basis in all welding, cutting, and finishing processes, and make sure other employees do so as well.

Accepts and completes jobs in a reasonable amount of time.

Capable of reading and understanding all blue-prints.

Capable of welding machine frames and piece parts proficiently with no supervision.

Follow safety standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Keep up to date on new techniques and processes.

Support world class check-out process.

Other tasks as requested by supervisor.

Placement within our salary range is determined based upon years of directly relatable experience for your position. These components, along with local and national compensation survey data, contribute to deciding a candidate's potential starting rate of pay.

Total compensation includes your pay, potential short-term incentive opportunities, comprehensive medical/dental/vision programs, as well as life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off programs, a retirement savings plan with a company match and a wellness program. Base Hourly Range: $23-$30/hour Please note that the pay ranges listed on external job boards, outside our posting details, do not accurately reflect our internal compensation ranges.
