Alexandria, MN Pay Rate: $20.50 – $25.00 per hour DOE
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What You Bring to the Table as a MachinistTechnical degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred
High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of machining experience may be considered
Internship or hands-on machining experience preferred
Ability to set up tooling and execute basic machining programs
Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
Ability to learn new machining methods and processes quickly
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Team-oriented attitude with flexibility to support multiple operations
ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and assist with programming various machine tools including mills, lathes, and drill presses
Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and machining instructions
Machine parts to precise specifications and tolerance requirements
Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to verify quality
Perform secondary operations such as deburring and part stamping during machine cycles
Send and receive machine programs through network systems
Maintain work areas according to 5S and safety standards
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Support production priorities and maintain part throughput within assigned work cells
Participate in cross-training and continuous skill development within the machine shop
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
