Electrical Assembler

Position Overview

Mechanical Assembler – Alexandria, MN – First Shift.

• Perform electrical wiring and assembly operations on all product lines of electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics and prints.
• Wire all product lines with no supervision.
• Lead a small team on multiple product lines independently.
• Wire all panel types for machine assembly and ensure conformity to UL/CE and NEMA ratings.
• Monitor machine project schedules, working with Project Manager and Assembly Lead/Manager on hours and resources.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and properly care for shop tools.
• Ensure Assembly Standards are met, including inspection of panels and wiring for neatness and conformance to requirements.
• Work closely with mechanical assemblers, engineering teams, and project managers during machine projects.
• Take a lead role in the World Class Checkout Process.
• Provide technical input for machine operator and training manuals.
• Travel for installation and servicing of machines as needed.

• 2-year technical college degree (preferred) and 2-4 years of electrical assembly experience.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical capability, or capacity to learn.
• Solid mechanical problem‑solving skills.
• Potential to be a motivator and leader.
• Professional communication, attitude, and image.
• Good verbal and written presentation, organization, planning, and interpersonal skills.

• Base hourly range: $23.00–$32.00.
