Press Cell Production

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in extrusion processes, is seeking a Press Cell Production to join their team. As a Press Cell Production, you will be part of the Extrusion department supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Press Cell Production

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $21+/hour

Shift: Monday-Wednesday, 6:30 PM-6:30 AM
Thursday, 6:30 PM - 12:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Exhibit active leadership to model and support the company’s vision and strategies
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the department to effectively serve and support coworkers and employees
• Ensure the department has the necessary tools and resources to communicate delays or changes in product schedules
• Provide leadership to the extrusion department team members, including participating in hiring processes as needed
• Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance department operations and product quality

What's Needed?

• High school diploma/ GED required
• At least 3+ years of manufacturing
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of extrusion processes and quality standards
• Experience with data analysis and process improvement methodologies
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment using 5S principles
