Fabrication Technician
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Fabrication Technicians for a manufacturing company in Alexandria, MN. In this role, you'll help fabricate sheet metal and machine components while ensuring products meet quality standards. Operate saw equipment to cut materials according to specifications
Deburr, drill, and tap holes in sheet metal and machine components
Operate drill presses and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production of parts
Perform basic machine maintenance and upkeep as required
Select and use proper tooling for fabrication projects
Produce quality parts that meet company standards within established time frames
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and proper tooling selection
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
