Brenton is seeking a Welder to work on the evening shift to weld frames and component parts for the manufacture of automated packaging systems. This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor. This is a night position, working from 3:30pm – 4:00am Monday – Thursday.

Brenton, based in Alexandria, MN, is a leading manufacturer of case packers, palletizers, shrink‑wrapping machines and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. Brenton is a division of Pro Mach, a leading provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for over 20,000 customers worldwide.

• Set up and run all required welding and cutting process proficiently.
• Build welding fixtures.
• Have complete knowledge of weld symbols.
• Familiar with machining processes.
• Conform to requirements on a consistent basis in all welding, cutting, and finishing processes, and ensure other employees do so as well.
• Accept and complete jobs in a reasonable amount of time.
• Read and understand all blue‑prints.
• Weld machine frames and piece parts proficiently with no supervision.
• Follow safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Keep up to date on new techniques and processes.
• Support world class check‑out process.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.

• 1 year welding program preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Must work well with others.
• Ability to read blue prints.

Base Hourly Range: $23-$30/hour
