Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM (4-day workweek!)

The Mechanical Assembler position is an entry-level position that provides an individual the opportunity to learn, develop, and apply the mechanical assembly skills and knowledge required to assemble and disassemble packaging automation machines. This individual works under the direction of an Assembly Production Supervisor.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • High School diploma /GED or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.
Job Duties
  • Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and samples
  • Set up and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Pull required materials and supplies for each job
  • Follow safety and quality standards to ensure efficient production
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.
  • Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Mechanical Assembler.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Mechanical Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

A Mechanical Assembler supports production by assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured components into completed products. This role combines technical ability with craftsmanship, organization, and attention to detail.

The Mechanical Assembler works with assembly drawings, production equipment, and quality standards while maintaining accurate, consistent work throughout the manufacturing process. Strong mechanical aptitude supports long‑term success.
